Let me introduce you to Hannah Arendt.

Hannah was born into a German-Jewish family in 1906 and grew up to be a political philosopher.

The main topics she wrote about were totalitarianism, revolution and the nature of freedom.

I love Hannah’s work on freedom.

For Hannah, freedom is realized through action and the root of action is natality.

Natality is how Hannah describes the uniquely human capacity to be born again and again every single day of our lives.

To wake up and start something new.

To say ‘the hell with it!’ and do the unexpected.

To look at the world and start adding beauty to it.

Regardless.

This is an ode to Hannah Arendt.
