It was January 28th 2017 and I could not move an inch.

The assignment of the retreat was super simple: take a walk through the forest while *being* happy.

But I couldn’t.

I was stunned to feel bodily that my unhappiness was a muscle that I had been training like a pro for years on end.

And my happiness muscle?

That one had been gathering dust on the bottom shelf in the basement.
